Lily Collins and her co-star Nicholas Hoult walked the red carpet together at the UK premiere of their new movie Tolkien on Monday at the Curzon Mayfair in London, England. She plays JRR Tolkien’s muse and future wife in the film.

The upcoming 2019 American biographical drama film directed by Dome Karukoski explores the formative years of the renowned author’s life as he finds friendship, courage, and inspiration among a fellow group of writers and artists at school.

When World War I breaks out, J. R. R. Tolkien’s relationships with his friends are tested, an act which threatens to tear their “fellowship” apart. These experiences inspired Tolkien to write his famous Middle-earth novels.

The 30-year-old English-American actress was blooming in a floral strapless gown with a long train from the Giambattista Valli Fall 2013 Couture Collection. Her glamorous dress also features a cinched waist, a puffball skirt, and fishtail hem.

She styled her brunette hair in sophisticated off-the-shoulder waves. Styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, Lily also wore colorful make-up and sparkling gold hoop Cartier earrings.
Earlier the same day, Lily visited BBC Radio studio to promote her movie. She styled a spicy orange virgin wool-cashmere blend ribbed roll neck sweater from Dorothee Schumacher ($383 at Farfetch) with L’Agence’s Adelaide skinny pants that are crafted of black stretch lambskin ($995 at Nordstrom). Her look was completed with black stilettos from Casadei.

One week later, the two co-stars also attended the premiere of Tolkien at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California.
Lily was glowing in a light sparkling Ronald van der Kemp Spring 2019 Haute Couture pastel-colored dress. Chris rocked a pink cashmere twill Dior Men by Kim Jones Spring 2019 suit with matching Dior Men by Kim Jones B24 sneakers.

Phil Collins’ daughter also flashed her legs in polka dot stockings and a custom Saint Laurent sequin mini dress at the premiere of Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile during the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
