Demi Lovato showed up at The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Breakfast, which honored the great Oprah Winfrey, looking like she earned her every right to be there.
The American singer, songwriter, and actress has gone through her own struggles in the past few years, including cocaine addiction, self-mutilation, and bulimia, all of which caused her to spend three months in rehab back in 2011. The former Disney star has since then been sweeping the music industry away, doing quite well at her “second life.”
Demi wore a grommet dress by Belstaff, which she paired with a gorgeous Helmut Lang tuxedo blazer. She complemented her studded dress with a BCBG studded belt and finished her look off with the ‘Ambertina’ sandals in black by Christian Louboutin. The singer still hasn’t shaken her blue locks off her head — a testament that our girl has indeed grown some confidence in her self-image.
The 21-year-old was reportedly inspired by Oprah, tweeting how great of an icon she was.
It was so inspiring watching @oprah accept her award at the 100 Powerful Women Breakfast this morning.. What an icon

The dress isn’t actually decorated with grommets but rather gives that illusion by providing a circular space around the rounded studs that are fixed to slashed front pieces. The dress has a keyhole at the chest area, which closes with a snap button at the neckline. There is some minimal pleating at the back.
The dress is already sold out, but we pulled out some nifty substitutes below.
