Hair transformations have become a trend during the quarantine. Over the past few months, many celebrities have dyed their hair bold colors to while away their time in self-isolation.
But out of all the many hair color changes we’ve seen this year, one of our favorites is Lucy Hale’s natural-looking red hair.
To mark the beginning of the fall season, the Wizards of Waverly Place actress debuted her newly dyed ginger red tresses on Monday while out to walk her dog, Elvis, in Los Angeles.

Although she’s famous for her dark bob hairstyle, the Pretty Little Liars star has actually tried almost every hair color—from the typical chocolate brown, light brown, and raven black colors to rose gold, pink, honey blonde, and platinum blonde.
This time, however, she’s adding ginger red to her look book, courtesy of celebrity hairstylist and colorist Kristin Ess.
“I’ve always had the feistiness of a redhead so this is fitting,” Lucy commented on Kristin’s Instagram video featuring her new look.
Kristin, the founder of her eponymous haircare line, said that Lucy “has had every hair color under the sun except red.”
She added: “My lil colorist heart is full and now we officially know this chick looks good with any hair color. Thank you for trusting me to do this (and thank you for COVID testing w me beforehand)”
For her outing, Lucy opted for a cool-girl outfit, showing her toned shoulders in a white tank top paired with loose-fitting khaki trousers.

Not one to skimp on accessories, the 31-year-old actress styled her look with several rings and necklaces from Jacquie Aiche.
She then shielded her eyes behind a pair of round-framed sunglasses and stayed safe with a black face mask from EvolveTogether.
