Did you catch the fashion highlights from the 39th Annual People’s Choice Awards back in 2013? While the PCAs may not have the same glitz as the Oscars, they’ve long been a launchpad for red carpet style—and that year was no exception.

Kicking off awards season with flair, Hollywood’s leading ladies delivered everything from sleek, floor-grazing gowns to playful mini dresses. While black and white dominated the carpet, a few bold pops of color and standout prints added extra personality to the evening.

Take a walk down memory lane with our curated roundup of the night’s most unforgettable red carpet looks—and let us know which celebrity fashion moment still wins in your book.

1. Taylor Swift Stuns in Sophisticated White Ralph Lauren Gown

Of course, our Golden Girl gets the first mention. Taylor Swift attended the event looking sophisticated and sultry in a plunging white Ralph Lauren gown that screamed “grown-up. ”

Could this be the kind of Taylor we’ll see more of on the red carpet? We sure hope so!

2. Naomi Watts Turns Heads in a Backless Alexander McQueen Masterpiece

One lady gave the younger females at the PCA some serious competition: Naomi Watts. She sizzled in her backless Alexander McQueen gown. Do you agree?

3. Heidi Klum Radiates Elegance in Gold-Trimmed Julien MacDonald

And then, of course, there was Heidi Klum. Interestingly, she didn’t wear anything too risqué at the event. Instead, she wore a beautiful gold-trimmed Julien MacDonald dress and looked elegant.

Don’t get us wrong- her Christian Louboutins are gorgeous, but we wish she had worn the dress with strappy sandals.

4. Rumer Willis Glows in Sequined Stripes by Alice + Olivia

Rumer Willis showed everyone at the PCA how to wear sequined stripes. We have to admit, she looked stunning at the event. She wore Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet.

5. Rachel Leigh Cook Shines in a Strapless Blue-Green Oliver Tolentino Gown

Oh, look at that! It’s the ‘She’s All That’ cutie, Rachel Leigh Cook! How can we forget the pretty face?!

The beauty made her red carpet return at the PCA in a gorgeous blue-green strapless gown by Filipino designer Oliver Tolentino. Do you love the look? Or are you bored with it?

6. Ashley Rickards Keeps It Timeless in Beaded Aidan Mattox Gown

‘Awkward’ star Ashley Rickards arrived at the event looking exquisite in a beaded Aidan Mattox gown. What do you think of her dress? Thank goodness for her dark hair, yes? Otherwise, she would have looked somewhat washed out…

7. Lea Michele Goes Full-On Pink in Elie Saab’s Sheer Beaded Dress

‘Glee’ cutie Lea Michele channeled girly girl drama at the PCA. She wore a fully beaded sheer and short number by Elie Saab in PINK!

And she finished it with equally stunning pink strappy sandals from the same designer. The head-to-toe monochromatic look would have been a perfect ten if not for the hairstyle, do you agree?

8. Chloë Moretz Brings a Pop of Color in Chartreuse Simone Rochas

Young star Chloë Grace Moretz gave everyone decked in color at the PCA a run for their money with her chartreuse floral number.

She paired the youthful, scallop-trimmed Simone Rochas frock with gorgeous Casadei ankle-strap pumps, which added polish while subtly elongating her petite 5-foot-4 (approximately 162.6 cm) frame—the mix was spot-on, and we had nothing bad to say.

9. Emma Watson Wows in Bold, Multi-Cutout Peter Pilotto Dress

There was no doubt in our minds that Emma Watson, a.k.a. Hermione Granger, looked stunning in her multi-cutout and multicolored leather-trimmed Peter Pilotto dress at the event. Her look was bold, edgy, and fresh, and she stood out in her Tabitha Simmons sandals:

10. Jennifer Lawrence Dazzles in Glamorous Valentino Couture

Jennifer Lawrence wore black to the event, but there was seriously nothing classic or boring about her dress. It was glam, glittery, draped, and ultra-dazzling! Fit for a star, yes?!

11. Paris Hilton Mixes Prints in Mary Katrantzou with a Pop of Blue

Ok, we admit, we can’t quite figure out why Paris Hilton decided to wear a rather busy dress (that’s more appropriate for lunch with the ladies) to a red carpet occasion such as the PCA, but she almost made it work….up until the moment she decided to put on those bright blue pumps!

A more toned-down pair with a sexier silhouette would have been a better choice, would you agree?

12. Kristin Kreuk Opts for Delicate Elegance in Salmon Jean Fares Gown

We’ve long admired Kristin Kreuk (yes, we’re still loyal Smallville fans), but her salmon-colored Jean Fares gown at the PCAs wasn’t the most flattering choice.

The soft hue and voluminous silhouette overwhelmed her petite frame. Kristin’s natural poise helped her pull it off, but a bold red would make a far more striking statement next time.

13. Julianne Hough Channels Retro Vibes in Star-Dust Tony Ward Couture

Julianne Hough embraced retro glamour at the PCAs with her textured short ’do and star dust-sprinkled Tony Ward Couture dress. While the look was playful and nostalgic, it didn’t quite hit her usual high notes on the red carpet.

14. Brittany Snow Shines in Sunny Yellow Maria Lucia Hohan Dress

Brittany Snow almost got it right with her yellow Maria Lucia Hohan cutout dress. It was sexy, and the color suited her tanned skin.

The length, however, was not exactly flattering. Had she kept it to the knees and worn sexy sandals instead of classic court shoes from Giuseppe Zanotti, this write-up would have been different.

Well, ladies, can we have that answer? Which among these beauties had the best look at the People’s Choice Awards? We’re trying to decide between Taylor, Naomi, and Chloe, but Naomi might win. Who’s your pick?
