The movie follows Kayleigh Brooks (Chelsea Rose Cook), a driven digital advertising executive, and Darren Morgan (Austen Jaye), a laid-back creative strategist. Their boss, Monique (Vivica A. Fox), pairs them up to work on a fun, high-energy holiday pitch for their big client, Santa’s Pajamas. Despite their initial conflict as they compete to outdo one another, their rivalry gradually softens as they realize they are attracted to one another.
For the press tour, Fox leaned into her boss lady energy, wearing a holiday-ready Retrofete midi dress, finished with playful, sparkling René Caovilla sandals that kept the look polished but fun.

What really made the dress stand out for me was the fit. The midi-length dress hugged Vivica’s figure beautifully, creating a smooth, body-skimming silhouette with subtle ruching that flattered her curves. The high neckline added a hint of modesty, but the draped detail, which looked like a panel wrapped diagonally across the bodice, made it feel modern and chic.
It’s exactly the kind of glamorous, party-ready design Retrofete is known for, and Vivica wore it with such confidence. At 61, she continues to serve looks with the same energy and glamour she always has—and I love that about her!

To enhance the festive vibe, Vivica wore large crystal-encrusted hoops, a silver watch, and diamond rings, adding just the right touch of glam.

As much as I loved the dress, her shoes were my favorite element. Vivica wore burgundy René Caovilla sandals that were flirty and fun. They featured delicate straps across the toes, vamp, and ankle, wrapping slightly up her leg. Each strap was adorned with tiny rhinestones that echoed the sparkle of her dress.
The standout detail was the sheer crystal-embellished floral appliqués blooming along the straps. They added a soft, romantic touch that balanced the sultry silhouette. And with those high stiletto heels giving Vivica extra height, she looked powerful, confident, and completely in her element.
