Kiernan Shipka has been leaning into a fun, sultry side of her style while attending press events for the fourth season of the financial thriller drama Industry.

She recently joined the cast as Haley Clay, an executive assistant at Tender, and her fashion choices throughout the press run have definitely caught my attention.

Mini skirts have clearly become a staple for her, and they suit her so well. They highlight her legs and give her petite 5 feet 2 inches (157.5 cm) frame a longer, sleeker line. When paired with classic pumps, the effect is especially flattering, and it’s obvious she knows how to dress to suit her proportions.

Kiernan always manages to keep things fun and a little sexy while still looking polished and put together. Let’s take a closer look at her recent outfits.

Sultry Tailoring: Nina Ricci Velvet, Lace Layers & Valentino “Tan-Go” Pumps

Kiernan Shipka made a strong impression at the New York premiere of Industry Season 4, stepping out in an outfit that balanced sultry details with sharp tailoring.

The centerpiece was Shipka’s Nina Ricci Fall 2025 purple velvet blazer, which immediately caught my eye. The color was rich and deep, and the velvet texture gave it a luxurious feel that stood out beautifully against her skin. It featured a cinched waist that highlighted her frame, while the oversized, structured collar added a modern twist.

What made it even more striking, though, was the moss-green ribbon tied at the waist. The contrast was unexpected and playful, softening the blazer’s seriousness and giving it personality.

Underneath, Shipka took a sultrier approach. She wore a black lace Dolce & Gabbana longline bralette ($595 at Farfetch) with sheer embroidery, triangle cups, and scalloped edges. It was paired with a purple mini skirt, finished with a lace hem that subtly peeked out from beneath her long blazer. The lace details tied the top and skirt together, creating a cohesive, layered effect.

Finishing Touches: Valentino “Tan-Go” Platform Pumps

Kiernan kept her accessories minimal. A single ring was all she needed, allowing the neckline and textures to take center stage. Her hair was straight and simple, falling naturally over her shoulders, and her makeup remained soft, with pink tones on her eyes, cheeks, and lips.

To finish the look, Kiernan added black tights before slipping into the Valentino Garavani “Tan-Go” pumps. The shiny black patent leather, thick platforms, and tall block heels gave her extra height and confidence. For me, they were the perfect choice. They were bold enough to work with her outfit, but clean enough not to take attention away from it.

These pumps are currently on sale for $783 (from $1,119) at Mytheresa.

Burgundy Whimsy: Thom Browne Tailoring & Menswear-Inspired Brogue Pumps

For her appearance on Today earlier in the day, Kiernan Shipka fully embraced a monochromatic burgundy look by Thom Browne. The outfit was powerful but still playful, which is something she does quite well. It was tailored, yes, but not stiff, and the rich color tied everything together beautifully.

Kiernan wore a Thom Browne checkered sportcoat minidress, cut from Super 120’s wool twill. It was the American designer’s feminine take on classic suiting, complete with sharp lapels, a structured collar, a button-front closure, and long sleeves. The proportions, however, softened the overall look. The shaping darts at the front gave it a flattering fit, while the button-fastening armbands and ribbed buttoned cuffs, finished with the brand’s signature RWB grosgrain trim, added structure and visual interest.

What I loved most was the pleated mini skirt below, done in burgundy and gray, with a dropped back hem and side vents that gave the piece movement as she walked. A gray version of this Thom Browne sportcoat mini dress is available for $2,990 at Farfetch.

Shipka added another layer by draping an oversized burgundy blazer over her shoulders. I loved how it added warmth and gave the outfit extra presence. Worn cape-style, it sharpened the look and made it more powerful!

From Hector Bag to Thom Browne Brogue Pumps

For a hint of sparkle, Kiernan wore earrings, a gold chain, and a pendant necklace. She then pulled her hair back into a low ponytail, keeping the focus on her outfit. Her makeup was soft and understated, with her eyes hidden behind orange-tinted sunglasses that added a cool, modern edge.

One of my favorite details was her Thom Browne “Hector” bag, inspired by the brand’s iconic dachshund. I loved how it added a playful touch to the look, with its dachshund silhouette and brass bone charm. It’s available for $1,740 at Farfetch.

Her legs were wrapped in Thom Browne’s “Funmix Argyle” sheer tights ($200 at Farfetch), featuring contrasting argyle patterns that felt whimsical yet polished.

She then finished her monochromatic burgundy look with Thom Browne’s soft patent wingtip pumps. Inspired by menswear brogues, these pumps featured pinked trims and wingtip details at the pointed toes, finished with lace-up ties.

The pumps sat on spool-shaped heels and were completed with Thom Browne’s signature striped grosgrain loop tabs at the back. Get them for $1,000 at Farfetch.
