Charlize Theron is back on screen in Apex, a new survival action thriller, and she’s been busy wrapping up promotions in New York City ahead of its release on April 24.

For the film’s New York premiere at the Paris Theater, she stepped out in a head-to-toe Dior look that blended sharp, masculine tailoring with high-fashion feminine details.
Earlier in the day, she kept her look sleek and understated for her appearance on The View, wearing an all-black outfit with leather pants and strappy Balmain pumps.

The film follows rock climber Sasha, played by Theron, who is hunted in the wilderness by a relentless hunter, portrayed by Taron Egerton. As things get more intense, she has to rely on her instincts and strength to outsmart him and make it out alive.
Premiere Power Dressing: Dior “Masquerade” Pumps & Shirtless Tailoring
Seeing Charlize Theron in a shirtless blazer isn’t new, but I still find it just as striking every time she does it. For the New York City premiere of Apex, she embraced that signature look again, stepping out in a Dior ensemble from Jonathan Anderson’s Fall 2026 collection, finished with the house’s $1,400 “Masquerade” pumps.
The Dior Masquerade pumps really pulled the whole look together for me. They looked pretty simple peeking out from under her pants, but up close, they had this sleek silhouette with a slightly raised vamp that made them look more sculptural.
The satin finish kept them soft and polished, and I liked how they looked modern but still very Dior. They also had a tapered heel that added just enough height, plus a small Dior medallion detail that gave them that signature touch.

Charlize paired the pumps with a black Dior single-breasted blazer with sharp, peaked lapels and matching silky trousers that draped effortlessly. Instead of wearing a shirt underneath, she went with a white Elizabethan-style pleated collar tied with a long ribbon, which gave the look a mix of romantic and edgy.
She kept her accessories minimal, with ear cuffs and a delicate pendant necklace, then added a bold red lip to finish the look perfectly.

Sleek Biker Chic: Balmain Strappy Pumps & Leather Moto Pants
Earlier in the day, Charlize Theron was spotted looking effortlessly sleek outside The View ahead of her appearance.
She wore head-to-toe Balmain from the Fall-Winter 2026 collection, finishing it off with pointed pumps that had a subtle velour detail.
The thick straps across the foot added a bit more structure and edge compared to a typical pump. They also had torque-effect heels, giving them a slightly sculpted, curved shape that made the shoes look more fashion-forward.

Theron paired the strappy pumps with black lambskin biker pants, instantly elevating the outfit. The pants had moto-style ribbing at the knees, which added texture and a signature biker feel, along with diagonal zippered pockets and zippered hems that gave them a more utilitarian edge.
On top, Charlize wore a black long-sleeved poplin shirt. I loved the contrast between the crisp fabric and the leather’s softness, which made the look sharp but still easy to wear.
Theron finished it off with sleek red sunglasses, tiny hoop earrings, and a few rings, adding just the right amount of attitude.
