Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Meryl Streep made a striking entrance at the V&A in central London for The Devil Wears Prada 2 photocall, coordinating in sophisticated black-and-red ensembles that captured the film’s polished, fashion-forward spirit.

Emily Blunt stole the spotlight with her standout footwear, stepping out in a pair of elegant Valentino sandals. While Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway also delivered glamorous looks, their shoe choices remained more understated, with both actresses opting for classic black pumps.

Let’s take a closer look at their choices.

Anne Hathaway Goes Sleek in Armani Velvet and Christian Louboutin Pumps

Continuing her streak of elegant, stunning looks, Hathaway stepped out in a Giorgio Armani Privé Fall 2024 Haute Couture coat worn as a dress, paired with classic Christian Louboutin pumps.

The shoes were simple, but I mean, you really can’t go wrong with Louboutins. She wore the “Miss Z” pumps in black patent leather, and that glossy finish added just the right amount of contrast against the rich velvet of her dress. The pointed toes and slightly curved topline gave the shoes a subtle, sexy edge while remaining refined.

These pumps are designed with comfort in mind, too, making them modern and wearable for different occasions. And of course, those iconic Louboutin lipstick red soles tied everything back to that signature Devil Wears Prada palette, even with her all-black look. You can find these pumps for $1,045 at Mytheresa.

Anne Hathaway’s Armani coat dress was just as striking. It was made from plush velvet and detailed with pearls and crystals in different sizes, adding texture and just enough sparkle. I especially liked the longline silhouette, which really flattered her frame, along with the structured shoulders and long sleeves that gave it a clean, tailored finish.

Hathaway kept her styling minimal with Bulgari hoop earrings and sleek cat-eye sunglasses, which gave the whole look an effortlessly put-together feel.

Meryl Streep Channels Miranda Priestly in Armani Tailoring, Black Pumps, and a Red Rosette

Meryl Streep kept things classic yet striking. She appeared to be wearing the same black satin pumps she previously wore to The Devil Wears Prada: A Night with Runway Gala, which just proves how timeless a good pair of heels can be.

The pumps had an asymmetrical high-cut vamp, pointed toes, and high heels that gave her a little extra height. They were simple, but they matched her outfit so well and added a polished finish. I also liked how their clean design balanced the more detailed parts of her outfit.

Streep styled the shoes with an Armani Privé Spring 2019 look, wearing an ivory jacket with black tailored, cropped pants that hit right at the ankle.

The jacket had a pretty swirling ribbon print that made the outfit more interesting, but the bold red sequined rosette on her shoulder was definitely the standout detail. It instantly drew my eye.

Meryl Streep completed the look with cat-eye ombré sunglasses, drop earrings, and a few rings. I thought the styling was spot on; it stayed sophisticated without making the outfit feel too busy.

Emily Blunt Steals the Scene in Red Valentino Rockstud Sandals and a Michael Kors Statement Skirt

Emily Blunt looked stunning in this black-and-red ensemble, and her Valentino Garavani “Rockstud” sandals made the look even more exciting!

Made in Italy from red kidskin leather, the design had a strappy upper with four slim straps across the vamp, an ankle strap, open toes, and 4-inch heels.

What made them stand out were the silver-toned pyramid Rockstuds in different sizes. Larger studs decorated the center front strap, while the smaller ones lined the other straps and the ankle strap.

They gave the sandals that edgy Valentino finish without detracting from the outfit’s elegance. Her Valentino Rockstud kidskin sandals 100mm are available for $1,190 on Farfetch.

Emily’s outfit was just as stunning. Blunt wore a Michael Kors Fall 2026 look, pairing a fitted black turtleneck sweater with a high-waisted skirt covered in red, maroon, and black petal-like appliqués. I loved how the soft, textured skirt balanced the sharper details of her shoes. The mid-calf length also gave the look a graceful silhouette and made it a bit dramatic.

Emily finished her outfit with Monica Vinader jewelry, including a Signature Signet ring and $225 Large Gold Vermeil MV Siren Muse hoop earrings. She also added Etnia Barcelona Deia sunglasses, which gave the look an extra touch of star power.
