Naomi Grossman in Sheer Natalia Fedner Gown & T-Strap Pumps
Fans may forever remember Naomi Grossman as Pepper, the microcephalic character she played on American Horror Story: Asylum, but off-screen, she couldn’t be further from the haunting role.
At the season four premiere of the anthology series in Hollywood on October 5, 2014, the 5-foot-tall actress (152.4 cm), who wears a US shoe size 5.5, shed the prosthetics and transformed into a striking vision of confidence.
With her signature bald head, piercing blue eyes, and gap-toothed smile on full display, Grossman leaned into high-fashion drama, proving that petite stars can command the red carpet just as powerfully as their taller peers.

The American actress opted for a sheer, body-skimming gown that left little to the imagination, revealing her figure with unapologetic confidence.
Designed by haute couture talent and Project Runway alumna Natalia Fedner, the dramatic “Empress” dress turned Naomi Grossman into a red-carpet talking point, blending avant-garde sensuality with fearless style.

Check out all angles of Fedner’s “Empress” gown that is literally hanging on to Naomi by a thread:

For such a revealing dress, Naomi wore surprisingly classy t-strap pumps that resemble dancing shoes.

It makes us wonder why Naomi Grossman’s skin-baring dress didn’t rouse fashion critics as other commando dresses did.
Naomi was even more exposed than other celebrities who made headlines wearing sheer dresses. But then again, the American Horror Story: Freak Show premiere was filled with extraordinary personalities, like the world’s smallest woman and the world’s tallest model:
Amazon Eve & Jyoti Amge: Towering vs. Petite Red Carpet Contrast
Standing at an astonishing 6ft 7⅜ (201.6 cm) with a US shoe size 14, Amazon Eve towered over the carpet in a flowing navy gown cinched with a jeweled belt and metallic sandals.
Beside her, Guinness World Record holder Jyoti Amge—measuring just 62.8 cm (2 ft ¾ in) with a US shoe size 4—added a burst of color in a ruffled fuchsia dress paired with playful white sneakers. Together, they created one of the evening’s most unforgettable style contrasts.

Rose Siggins’ Inspiring Red Carpet Appearance
Also in attendance was Rose Siggins (born Rose Marie Homan, 1972–2015), the American actress best known for portraying Legless Suzi on American Horror Story: Freak Show.
Born with sacral agenesis, she underwent childhood leg amputations yet went on to marry, raise two children, and inspire many with her resilience.

In attendance as well were interesting celebrities with very unique, unconventional fashion styles:
