For the screening of ‘The East’ held at Landmark’s Sunshine Cinema in New York City, the movie’s lead star, Brit Marling, opted to wear a white number from Prabal Gurung’s Fall 2013 collection and a pair of Valentino pumps.
I don’t like the dress as I find it too busy despite being made only of silk crepe with a satin hem. You see, the draped waist, the ruffled long sleeves, the cutout on one shoulder with gold-tone studs, and the asymmetrical ruffled hem just seem too much.
On the other hand, her Valentino pumps looked rocking in black with studs, though they didn’t really complement her dress.

Love the shoes but not the dress? Her leather “Rockstud” pointy-toe pumps are from Valentino’s Spring 2013 collection. They feature clear PVC material trims and are embellished with the pyramid studs and crystals. These unique pumps also feature 3 1/4-inch acrylic heels that are studded as well.
If you’d like to get your hands on these pumps, you can get them in black, nude, and snakeskin at Neiman Marcus.
