Considering that Camilla Belle works in Hollywood, we think it’s safe to say that she knows firsthand what it’s like to be a woman in the industry. In may industries, women receive lower pay than men for the same work, and often have a harder time getting raises or promotions. And, it seems like Hollywood women face the same issues.
Camilla tipped her hat to the women who strive to make the industry a little better throughout the years. The actress attended the 10th “Women in Film” celebration by Max Mara and BMW in Los Angeles.

Camilla decided to stick to her usual all-black look. The actress jumped on the velvet bandwagon by slipping into a laced bodice dress by Japanese designer Hanako Maeda’s ADEAM. The dress cinched at the front waist and flared out into a full skirt.
The actress finished her look with jewelry from Tasaki, a clutch from Hayward and Hopper, and a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood “Leda” pumps.

While Camilla didn’t expound on her own experience in the industry, the 30-year-old put her words into action by merely showing up. The actress also uploaded a photo from the event with the hashtag “#womencelebratingwomen.”
