Brie Larson answered our prayers and hid her ugly feet at the Captain Marvel premiere on Monday night in Hollywood, California.
The 29-year-old Oscar winner hit the red carpet in a custom Rodarte gold gown featuring Captain Marvel’s signature white and silver embroidered stars and a low-cut neckline.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first-ever standalone film centered on a female hero, it was perhaps not a coincidence that the premiere was held on International Women’s Day.
“It’s special,” Brie told Entertainment Tonight about the meaningful date. “It just shows that they’re being pointed, as well, about what this movie means, or what it can mean.”

She was joined on the red carpet by co-stars Gemma Chan, Samuel L. Jackson, Lashana Lynch, Lee Pace, Clark Gregg, Robert Kazinsky, Mckenna Grace, Rune Temte, and Ben Mendelsohn, as well as directors Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden.

The movie, which hits theaters on March 8th, is set in the 1990s and follows the journey of fighter pilot Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes.
