Among Carrie Underwood, Chrissy Teigen, and Nicki Minaj, only one brought home a golden microphone trophy, but this trio of ladies all got the footwear fashion gold at the recent 2014 Billboard Music Awards.
At the press room after the awards show, Carrie Underwood flaunted her gold-trimmed shoes along with her Milestone Award. Sticking her leg out of the slit of her gold-dotted Jill Stuart dress, the gold alligator embellishment shone and gleamed as much as Carrie’s gold microphone trophy. It was as if Carrie really dressed to match the award she received that night, don’t you think?

Debuting a new fringed hairdo, Chrissy Teigen also used gold to make her look shine on the Billboard Music Awards red carpet. Chrissy could’ve fallen into the usual styling trap of pairing dark accessories with her unusually cut black-embroidered Fyodor Golan mini dress, but we’re glad she didn’t. Her gold-snake-cuff sandals brightened up her ensemble while still maintaining that avant-garde edge.

Nicki Minaj rounded out our golden gals with gold-ring sandals. Still sticking to her new, refined, and reserved style, Nicki pouted her way on the red carpet while exposing lots of underboobs, waist, and abs in an Alexander McQueen spring 2014 cutout gown.

Does it even come as a surprise that all these ladies’ gold metal shoes are by Giuseppe Zanotti? The Italian shoe designer has been obsessed with the black-and-gold combination since spring 2013, and he shows no signs of letting up. You can find these shoes at Amazon.
