As the co-chair of the 2023 Met Gala, Dua Lipa arrived at the iconic event, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, in an outfit that celebrated fashion history.
The Grammy Award-winning singer chose to wear a cream sleeveless dress from Chanel’s Fall 1992 collection, which was made famous by supermodel Claudia Schiffer at the brand’s fashion show in Paris.
Lipa’s bridal gown adhered to the “In honor of Karl” dress code for the occasion, which featured a corseted bodice and a rounded fringe-hemmed skirt made of shimmering tweed, complete with pockets and black and white woven trim.

Her attire paid homage to the iconic fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, known for his signature style included black and white hues and tweed fabric in his legendary Chanel collections, making her ensemble a timeless and classic choice.
The FNAA Collection of the Year Awardee added a statement necklace instead of the iconic matching hat adorned with ribbons.

Lipa sported a platinum Tiffany & Co. necklace with a primary diamond weighing over 200 carats and cut in the famous Tiffany Diamond’s proportions, valued at over $10 million.
In addition, Anwar Hadid’s ex-girlfriend adorned herself with two luxurious rings from the high-end jeweler Tiffany & Co. – one was a platinum ring encrusted with nearly nine carats of diamonds, and the other was the Schlumberger Sixteen Stone ring made of platinum and diamonds, adding a touch of sophisticated glitz to her overall look.

The tall English singer’s romantic look was completed with neutral makeup and dark red lips, while her hair was left loose and flowing.
Lipa’s ensemble was accentuated with a pair of Chanel heels for footwear, featuring metallic mirror silver uppers and slightly rounded toes with a little “CC” monogram accent on top.
As one of the four Met Gala co-chairs this year, the 27-year-old songwriter set the tone for the evening’s celebrations.
Along with other co-chairs, including Oscar winner Penélope Cruz, tennis legend Roger Federer, Emmy-winning actress Michaela Coel, and, of course, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Lipa helped to celebrate the opening of “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.”

This year’s gala marked Lipa’s second appearance, following her 2019 debut in a psychedelic-print Atelier Versace ball gown with an oversized bow and a ’60s-inspired hairstyle for the “Camp: Notes on Fashion” event.
