Cynthia Erivo has been a busy woman lately, gearing up for the promotion of the highly anticipated direct sequel to 2024’s Wicked, Wicked: For Good.

Amidst her busy press schedule, which included promoting her album, I Forgive You, she also prepared for hosting duties at the Tony Awards, where she dazzled in ten stunning gowns. She wore designer outfits from Valentino, Ashi Studio, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, Gap, Richard Quinn, and Marni.

While all of her looks were impressive, she truly stole the show in her Schiaparelli gown as she made her grand entrance to the Radio City Music Hall.

Regal in Schiaparelli: Embellished Velvet Gown & Louboutin x Margiela Heels

Cynthia looked regal in her champagne-colored gown from Schiaparelli’s Spring 2025 Couture collection. Designed by Daniel Roseberry, the collection features a palette evocative of a bygone era, drawing inspiration from the creative director’s visit to an antique shop that had an inventory of ribbons from the 1920s and 1930s.

This influence is evident in the dusty pink color and intricate details of Erivo’s gown. The luxurious velvet bodice boasts a structured oval-shaped off-the-shoulder neckline and a basque waist that creates a flattering silhouette. The real showstopper, however, is the intricate embellishment of crystals and pearls, artfully arranged in a floral pattern that adds a touch of vintage charm to the contemporary structured design.

Another thing I find particularly interesting about the gown is that it appears to be made up of two distinct pieces. The bottom part features a dusty nude velvet column skirt, creating the illusion of a slender, elongated figure.

Standing at just 5ft 0 (152.4 cm), Cynthia may not be the tallest in the room, but the illusion of height was interesting. The elongated effect was further accentuated by her shoes, a chic pair of pumps by Christian Louboutin x Maison Margiela.

Cynthia wore the “Loubiella” pumps, featuring Maison Margiela’s signature Tabi split-toe design and Louboutin’s iconic red soles. The unique straps are twisted asymmetrically, adding an element of allure to the look.

Cynthia chose to accessorize her Schiaparelli gown with jewelry by Fope, further enhancing the glamour and sparkle of her already eye-catching look. Around her neck, she wore the Bicolor necklace, a piece created with 18k gold, bicolor mesh, and diamond pave. She wore multiple earrings on her ears, including the dazzling Panorama bicolor earrings with diamonds, adding radiance to her beauty.

Finally, she adorned her fingers with a few rings, including the Flex’it ring in white gold and bicolor. Of course, we can’t forget her signature long bejeweled nails, featuring a striking combination of white and red colors.

On Tour: I Forgive You Album & Wicked: For Good Promotions

Before hosting the 2025 Tony Awards, Cynthia was spotted making several appearances on the press circuit for her new album, I Forgive You, and the highly anticipated direct sequel to Wicked, Wicked: For Good.

Although the film will not be released in theaters until November, Cynthia has already made the rounds to promote it.

She’s launching a PR push like last year, but unlike last time, she’s not wearing green, a color associated with her character, Elphaba.

Preppy Chic: Prada Checkered Set & Louboutin Fierce Ankle Boots

Cynthia made a stylish appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in a preppy outfit from Prada. The multicolored checkered set showcased her playful side while maintaining a chic and posh look.

Her ensemble consisted of a wool shirt, $2,150 at Mytheresa, featuring a classic collar, chest pockets, and a row of buttons along the front. I particularly like the clever way she wore it—unbuttoned at the top for a touch of allure and then partially unbuttoned again at the bottom, creating an effortlessly chic French tuck.

She paired it with its matching checkered mini skirt, $2,550 at Farfetch, crafted from the same wool fabric, fully pleated, and accented with a unique brown safety pin. It fell perfectly at her mid-thighs, creating the illusion of longer legs while adding a touch of playfulness to her overall style.

Known for embracing a maximalist style, Cynthia elevated her look further with statement accessories. She paired mismatched silver earrings with a few rings, adding a touch of sparkle to her overall ensemble.

Complementing her accessories, she carried a vintage-style brown Miu Miu bag and slipped into brown suede boots that tied everything together.

Cynthia wore Christian Louboutin’s “Fierce” ankle boots in brown suede. These boots featured high platforms and towering stiletto heels, which boosted her height.

Romantic Edge: Alexander McQueen Suit & Giambattista Valli Platforms

Erivo left The Late Show with Stephen Colbert studios in a chic Alexander McQueen Spring 2025 ensemble, radiating an effortless mix of romance and edge.

Her longline single-breasted navy blazer looked sophisticated. It perfectly suited her slender frame, hugging her curves in all the right places. The blazer’s padded shoulders created a strong silhouette, while the single-button fastening drew attention to her small waist. What stood out, though, was the red trim on the flap pockets, contrasting with the blazer’s sharp look.

Cynthia paired the top with its matching pleated mini skirt, creating a cohesive and put-together appearance. The skirt’s intricate pleats and mini length added a hint of feminine playfulness to the otherwise powerful blazer silhouette.

She also wore a white shirt underneath, neatly buttoned up to the collar and adorned with a belt and silver-tone buckle. I love how it added a touch of simplicity and contrast to the skirt suit, creating a balanced look.

Erivo accessorized the structured ensemble with extravagant jewelry. She wore multiple earrings, rings, and her signature nose ring, enhancing the look’s glamour.

While I love her skirt suit, her heels caught my attention the most! She wore a pair of black satin pumps by Giambattista Valli, featuring sharp, pointed toes that contrasted nicely with the thickness of the island platform, creating an interesting and eye-catching illusion.

Those sleek pumps are secured to the foot with slim, buckled ankle straps and are perched atop razor-thin, impressively high stiletto heels. While I wouldn’t dare try them on, the combination of features creates an exaggerated and striking silhouette, making the shoes stand out.
