The students of The Young Women’s Leadership School of East Harlem, New York, were in for a surprise when X-Factor judge and Disney star Demi Lovato showed up for Secret deodorant’s ”Mean Stinks” event at their school.
Demi knows a thing or two about being bullied, having experienced it herself during middle school. It even came to a point when she had to seek professional help to deal with her eating and cutting disorders.
Now that she has recovered, Demi is finally putting her star power behind the “Gang Up for Good” campaign to end bullying. She asked the students to pledge for a “drama-free” school year by painting their pinkies with blue nail polish.
Meanwhile, we have noticed Demi’s gorgeous leather jacket from Topshop.

“I heard about the program last year, and thought it was such a great opportunity,” Demi said after being appointed as the new “Mean Stinks” ambassador. “They’re really trying to put an end to bullying.”
Demi’s leather jacket perfectly contrasts her cream/yellow romper, and we love her shapely legs, too! Here’s a closer look.
