Alicia Vikander is returning on the big screen for her first major leading role since Tomb Raider in 2018.
The 31-year-old Swedish actress plays the role of a murder suspect named Lucy Fly who is at the center of a love triangle in the upcoming noir mystery film, Earthquake Bird.
The movie is directed by Wash Westmoreland based on the novel of the same name by Susanna Jones (available on Amazon). It will have a limited release in theaters on November 1, before it starts streaming digitally through Netflix on November 15.

Ahead of the movie’s release, Alicia stepped out in London to grace the premiere of her new psychological thriller during the BFI London Film Festival at the Vue West End on Thursday.
The Louis Vuitton ambassador made an elegant appearance in a classy black dress, which is most likely from the fashion house’s Fall 2019 collection.
