We don’t know what to think about the ensembles seen at the Electric Run in Los Angeles on May 24. They were interesting and outrageous to say the least. The event’s host for the night, Vanessa Hudgens, explained that the 5k run and rave was supposed to be fun and exciting, so the attires were meant to be as electric as the run.

Bright neon colors, funky makeup, and wild outfits (including wild footwear) were all over the place that night. We’re still not sure if they were crazy or cool. You decide.

Vanessa Hudgens in Fur Calf Covers and Nike Sneakers

How do we begin to explain Vanessa Hudgens’ pick? Let’s start with the fur overload — she wore a fur polar bear cap with fur paw gloves and fur calf covers. Where there was no fur, there was neon pink (like on her head, lips, and legs). To cap off her electric look, she wore a pair of Nike “Sky Hi City” high-topped wedge sneakers in metallic silver. Of course, we expect bright and crazy for a rave, but do you think Vanessa overdid it?

Pia Mia and Sofia Richie in Neon Leg Warmers and Isabel Marant “Baya” High Tops

You don’t need to know Pia Mia and Sofia Richie to realize that the two girls are BFFs. Their coordinated outfits would tell you that in an instant. The girls, who are well known for their YouTube cover of Adele’s “Turning Tables”, both wore funky short shorts and white tank tops, paired with colored leg warmers and neon ski caps.

They even wore the same pair of Isabel Marant “Baya” high-topped wedge sneakers in different colors. Talk about a strong bond. What do you think of their ensembles? Crazy or cool?

DJ Rap in Buckled Boots

The buckled man-boot trend is really catching on as we’ve seen it on many celebrities lately. DJ Rap, Electric Run’s entertainment for the night, agrees. Her buckled biker boots suited her futuristic attire. She looks like a character out of ‘The Tron Legacy’ in her black cutout jacket and tights with reflective neon stripes. Do you think her outfit is crazy or cool?
