We are only days away from Christmas, so it’s pretty much a given that the fashion world is on full winter mode. However, actress Elizabeth Banks either missed the memo or ditched her calendar since she arrived to a winter event in a spring/summer look.
Elizabeth arrived at the 2016 March of Dimes “Celebration of Babies” event in a head-to-toe floral look that didn’t quite fit with the season.

Elizabeth channeled a bright look that made us miss the warm sun. The actress stepped out in the Gucci “Tian” floral print v-neck silk dress which flowed at the skirt and sleeves. The dress dipped at the neckline to show off a bit of skin.
The actress finished her look with a pair of flower-jeweled Chanel sandals.

Even though she dressed for the wrong season, the 42-year-old looks pretty good. Her skin tone seemed to make the dress disappear, but there was something about the almost-monotone blush ensemble that we like.
Elizabeth’s sandals may come off as tacky — despite the Chanel tag — but the actress seemed to pull them off somehow.
The actress made us miss warm sunshine in the Gucci “Tian” silk dress.
