Elle hosted its 20th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration on Monday, October 21, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.
It was a night of glamour as a number of Tinseltown’s finest women were invited to join the event. They stepped out in their impressive outfits, but the spotlight was focused on this year’s honorees — Reese Witherspoon, Melissa McCarthy, Marion Cotillard, Shailene Woodley, Nancy Meyers, Eva Marie Saint, and Naomie Harris — whose impact in the film industry were recognized.
Most of the celebrities were seen wearing pieces by Calvin Klein, who was one of the evening’s sponsors. Let’s check out some of them below as well as other stunning stars that caught our eyes.
1. Reese Witherspoon in Strapless Calvin Klein Dress
Reese Witherspoon was red hot in a strapless Calvin Klein dress that highlighted her curves. Not being a risk-taker when it comes to outfit choices, she kept everything simple by wearing minimal accessories and a pair of nude Manolo Blahnik heels. The actress still managed to turn heads with her fierce smoky eyes and messy but sexy updo.

2. Melissa McCarthy in Calvin Klein Coat
Melissa McCarthy, who is one of Elle magazine’s November cover girls, made sure to look chic and in style in a monochrome ensemble. Perhaps she wanted to make up for her controversial cover photo? She did well by choosing a black leather top with black pants under a pretty black-and-white coat by none other than Calvin Klein. To finish her look, she wore a striking pair of Brian Atwood sandals that feature gold-tone conical studs on the t-straps. They also have about 6 inch leather-covered heels and 2 inch platforms.

3. Marion Cotillard in Printed Dior Dress
Marion Cotillard did not impress in a printed Dior dress that did absolutely nothing to compliment her figure. Her modern Dior Resort 2014 shoes feature a tricolor design with pointy capped toes, asymmetrical straps, ankle straps, and curved heels.

4. Naomie Harris in Fringe Calvin Klein Dress
Naomie Harris also showed up in a shapeless fringed Calvin Klein dress. The 37-year-old actress finished her look with black squared-toe sandals.

5. Shailene Woodley in Geometric Calvin Klein Dress
A short-haired Shailene Woodley turned up at the fete dressed in Calvin Klein Spring 2014 from head to toe. Like Naomie, she unfortunately ended up in an unflattering dress that features geometric prints in muted shades and revealing cutout details at the sides. Her ugly shoes did not help.

6. Emilia Clarke in Nude Calvin Klein Dress
Emilia Clarke was spot-on as she arrived in a sheer Calvin Klein dress in nude with matching sandals. They’re from the label’s Spring 2013 collection and feature striking sculpted column heels in a gold tone.

7. Laura Dern in Long Black Dress
Like Emilia, Laura opted for a similar pair of Calvin Klein sandals. Hers were in black and feature textured leather and crisscross ankle straps. The sculpted heels seem to be in silver, which look very elegant. They also complemented her long black dress!

10. Emmy Rossum in Red Elie Saab Embroidered Dress
Emmy Rossum was a pretty lady in red at the event. Unlike Reese Witherspoon, who wore nude heels to provide contrast for her dress, Emmy opted to wear red all the way. She donned a red Elie Saab embroidered dress, carried a red purse, and completed her ensemble with a striking pair of red Christian Louboutin Fall 2012 heels.
