Fashion consultant and magazine editor George Kotsiopoulos faced backlash after his harsh critique of Elsa Pataky’s Oscar ensemble went too far.
As a commentator on E!’s Fashion Police, he said about Elsa: “The last thing I want to do is rip on a pregnant woman. That doesn’t look like a baby bump. It looks like a beer belly!”

The Spanish model, actress, and film producer is pregnant with twins, and by the size of her stomach, we expect that she’ll give birth very soon. Elsa is married to Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, with whom she already has one daughter.
Kelly Osbourne criticized Elsa Pataky’s Oscar dress, saying it wasn’t suitable for a pregnant woman and suggesting an empire style or something similar to what Olivia Wilde wore.
“It’s just not the appropriate dress to wear if you are pregnant. You have to go with an empire style, or just dress like Olivia Wilde,” Kelly Osbourne said of the fellow pregnant star.
Giuliana Rancic agreed, complimenting Pataky’s baby bump but feeling the dress was not flattering. Rancic added that she simply didn’t like the dress, regardless of Pataky’s pregnancy.
“. . . Beautiful baby bump, but beautiful in a different dress,” Giuliana Rancic added. “I have to say, pregnant or not, I just don’t like this dress.”
