Kendall and Hailey Lunch After Decision to End Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Keeping Up with The Kardashians has become one of the longest-running reality shows on television ever. Chronicling the personal and professional lives of one of America’s most famous families, KUWTK debuted on E! Channel on October 14, 2007.

Fourteen years and 20 seasons later, KUWTK is coming to an end, with its final season airing in early 2021.

On Tuesday, the Kardashian-Jenner family released a joint statement regarding their series’ conclusion, signed by the entire family, including matriarch Kris Jenner, eldest Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian-West, Khloe Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Scott Disick.

To our amazing fans – It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians. After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way. Thank you to the thousands of individuals and businesses that have been a part of this experience and, most importantly, a very special thank you to Ryan Seacrest for believing in us, E! for being our partner, and our production team at Bunim/Murray, who’ve spent countless hours documenting our lives. In an interview with series creator Ryan Seacrest, Kris said ending the show after 20 seasons is the “right time.”

“I think the number 20 used to sound good until 2020, but the number 20 just seemed like the right time I think for us to take a minute and breathe and everybody slow down a bit… figure out what our next steps are,” she explained.

In reality, the show is probably ending due to poor ratings. According to Nielsen, a global marketing research firm, ratings peaked at 4.8 million during the Season 4 finale in February 2010. The most recent episode had just 810,000 total viewers.

On Wednesday, for the first time since the family’s announcement, Kendall Jenner stepped out in West Hollywood with her bestie Hailey Bieber.

Grabbing lunch at Alfred Coffee, the two decided to showcase their toned curves in figure-hugging athleisure outfits.

Kendall was hard to miss in her ab-baring lime green Adidas racerback sports bra, paired with Nike Sculpt training tights that further highlighted her slender frame.

She layered her athleisure look with a black spandex shrug-like cardigan for added style.

Keeping her lunch look simple, Kendall skipped wearing any elaborate jewelry, save for a pair of tiny hoop earrings. She also wore a pair of Dmy by Dmy Preston rectangular sunglasses to keep things low-key.

And to stay protected, she donned a cocoa seamless face mask from her sister Kim’s undergarment and shapewear label, Skims.

Pulling her hair back into a ponytail, Kendall finished off her look with a black Prada mini hobo bag and a pair of Off White x Nike Zoom Fly Mercurial shoes.

Off-White’s CEO Virgil Abloh and Nike released their collaborative shoe in June 2018 to coincide with the start of the World Cup soccer tournament.

Featuring a soccer-inspired silhouette, the Mercurial shoes are made from full flyknit material with Zoom Fly running soles. They also have rainbow accents and oversized dots in common areas a soccer player kicks the ball.

Justin Bieber’s wife opted to put on a leggy display in a pair of Nike Pro Bike skintight shorts. She teamed it with a Mastermind World Damaged Skull checkered flannel shirt, layered over a black tank top.

The 23-year-old model injected some flair to her athleisure look with layered Fallon Herringbone gold chain necklaces and a pair of Anita Ko Meryl gold hoop earrings.

Wearing her hair in a bun, Hailey wore an Akings First Aid face mask in adherence to the mask mandate.

Like Kendall, Hailey also carried an authentic Prada bag and completed her look with a pair of Nike shoes.

She opted for the Nike TR8 shoes, which she also wore during her lunch date with her husband Justin Bieber last month.
