Eva Longoria seems to be immersing herself in more socially relevant issues lately. This time, she injected herself into the political scene by opening for Newark Mayor Cory Booker at his rally.
“Whether he’s pulling people out of burning buildings or shoveling somebody’s driveway or going on a hunger strike, the reputation he has is because of how much he cares about people,” Eva shared.

“I asked him, ‘Cory, do you want to run for president?'” Eva shared with the audience before turning the microphone over to the mayor. “And he said, ‘Eva, I want to change the world, and I will do that with whatever position I hold.'”
