Fashion, indeed, has its way of evolving. The flower headpieces that hit the ’70s like a hurricane are again making headlines.
We have recently spotted floral crown headbands on several stylish celebrities, models, and socialites. Katy Perry joined the Coachella Festival with pretty petals in her hair.
They looked freshly picked and just strung together casually like it was the most natural thing to do. The flower headband was a sweet touch and helped soften her look.

Vanessa Hudgens, famous for her love of anything and everything Boheme, was also in an ultra-femme, flower-power mood. Red roses decorated her dark locks, and she looked charming.
For Kirsten Dunst’s first appearance at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival in France, the actress opted for a white D&G dress styled with a bejeweled flower tiara. I can only describe her look as angelic.

A festival always brings out people’s free spirits, and decorating your hair with flowers on such an occasion is one of the best ways to celebrate.

Florence Welch, the lead singer of the Indie rock band Florence and the Machine, graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar’s July 2012 issue in a floral sheer feminine dress with fresh flowers for a crown.
She is noted for wearing frilly dresses in pale colors such as peach and cream. Her barely-there clothing was sexy and sensual, and so was her crowning glory.

Finally, Keira Knightley (I did save the best for last!) at the ‘Seeking a Friend for the End of the World’ premiere in Los Angeles. Like Perry and Hudgens, she opted for tiny red florettes.

What I like best is how the flowers matched those on her dress without looking like an extension of them. I also like the swept-up hairdo with loose wisps falling about. Her style was vintage, not hippie, but a little bit Victorian. Love!

Now, are you ready for your flower garlands? I know I am! Here are some uber-cute headbands that I found. Check out some before the summer ends!
