Sarah Jessica Parker’s approach to footwear has always been hands-on, often prioritizing classic silhouettes with a playful, glittery twist.
During a series of August 2020 visits to her South Street Seaport and Midtown flagship boutiques in New York City, the actress-turned-designer showcased how to seamlessly blend high-fashion Mary Janes with everyday street style.
Known for her personal involvement in the customer experience, Parker was spotted assisting shoppers while sporting some of the most versatile pieces from her eponymous footwear collection. Whether she is styling rainbow pumps for a client or modeling her own block-heeled designs, her outfits provide a masterclass in elevating casual denim with statement shoes.
Styling the ‘Tartt’ Glitter Mary Jane Pumps With Casual Denim

For her afternoon store visit, SJP wore a light blue tunic top with a V-neckline, front buttons, and rolled-up long sleeves. She paired the breezy number with cropped gray jeans that highlighted her curves.

Although she’s known to go all out when it comes to accessorizing, SJP kept it to a minimum during the visit. She wore just a pair of stud earrings, a pendant necklace, and a bracelet.
The Sex and the City actress opted for her signature beauty look, wearing smoky eye shadow and her long ombre locks in natural waves. To ensure safety, SJP wore a black face mask while assisting her customers.

Proving she’s her own best advertisement, Sarah Jessica Parker wore the “Tartt” Mary Jane pumps from her eponymous footwear collection.

These Tartt pumps are made from a glittery fabric, which modernizes the vintage, ladylike Mary Jane silhouette. They also have almond toes, oval-shaped buckles, and about 2-inch self-covered block heels.
Elevating Street Style with the Jeweled ‘Celine’ Mary Janes
The previous week, SJP visited her Midtown, Manhattan flagship store in yet another pair of Mary Jane pumps.

For the store visit, SJP slipped into the silver version of her favorite “Celine” pumps from her SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker line — a glittering Mary Jane style from the now-closed label, which shuttered in fall 2024 after a decade of colorful, Carrie Bradshaw–inspired footwear.

Made from glittery textiles, these pumps feature a jeweled brooch accent on the Mary Jane vamp straps. They also have almond toes, a signature grosgrain stripe at the back, and about 3.5-inch wrapped chunky heels.
The mom-of-three paired her Mary Janes with cropped ripped jeans and a summery white blouse.
She wore her long, wavy hair loose and finished off her beauty look with black eyeliner. For her accessories, she wore the same stud earrings, a pendant necklace, and bracelets.
