As you may know, rumors suggest that Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith are going through a trial separation, living apart after 15 years of marriage. These rumors have gained traction due to their absence from public appearances since August.
We spotted Jada riding solo at the “Make Equality Reality” event at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. What surprised us was her new side-shaved hairstyle!
The Make Equality Reality event benefited Equality Now, which aims to achieve legal and systemic change that addresses violence and discrimination against women and girls around the world.

Not to add fuel to the fire, but some women usually go for a major hair makeover after a breakup. Could this be a sign that Jada is now really separated from his husband? We’re hoping it’s not. We all know how bold Jada is regarding her hair anyway (Willow got this from her, too).
She’s just never afraid to take risks, fashionably speaking! As you can see, the sides of her hair were shaved and dyed; the rest of her hair was then pulled up into a ponytail. Like it?

Jada has this eclectic style. She can be classy, and she can also be tough. At the event, she surely brought her fashion A-game by wearing a sexy yet elegant J Mendel outfit — a sleeveless top with a cutout back paired with a knee-length skirt.
To complement the sparkly details on her top, she finished her ensemble with a pair of metallic shoes in bronze by Christian Louboutin.

Called “Vaquettababa,” these shoes are from the label’s Fall 2013 collection. Their features include laminated leather, cutouts, and peep toes that, together, result in a beautiful and sexy style. They also have about 4.7-inch heels for a boost in height.
