Kate Bosworth has been hitting the right styling notes recently, especially with a daring move to do a casual look on the red carpet.
The blonde beauty attended the Lilly Pulitzer for Target shopping event to celebrate the much-awaited collaboration.

While Kate was originally planning to wear one of the brightly colored heels from her own shoe collection, she emerged from her hotel room in a Carven Mary Jane style that was way more casual and subdued than originally planned. The actress tagged Jean Shrimpton, an iconic English model of Swinging London, as her inspiration for the look.

The 32-year-old stunner chose a dress from the Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection with florals in candy colors and paired it with her Carven flats, a box bag from Mark Cross, coral lips and pink eyeshadow.

Kate kept her look fresh and clean with a casual side part and slightly wavy hairstyle.
