Unexpected Cover Shoot Location: Antarctica
We bet no one was expecting to see the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue cover girl in a down jacket, but then again, no one, not even Kate Upton herself, was expecting that it would be shot in Antarctica!

Kate Upton said the much-talked-about second Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover was the hardest shoot she’s done to date.
Aside from the usual stress of a photo shoot, she also had to deal with sub-zero temperatures and a body that threatened to shut down because of the freezing cold.
It might not have been much, but we bet Kate Upton relished every second she had in that white fur-trimmed parka!

Besides the unique lattice pattern on the mesh vamp, the pair is decorated with a million tiny gold studs. It’s a fresh and edgy take on the classic nude.
