The jungle lady image hasn’t been phased out as of yet, as Katy Perry continued to promote her song Roar at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.

The 28-year-old gave the paparazzi enough material as she gamely posed for them before disappearing backstage to prepare for her show. Katy performed eight songs, including her hits “I Kissed a Girl,” “California Girls,” and “Firework.”

The singer was photographed wearing a forest-themed outfit, complete with an animal-silhouette neck cuff and braids that hinted at an Amazon hairstyle.

Katy wore a rose-printed neoprene dress from Faith Connexion, which she dressed with the slinky, snakelike button calf sandals from Versace’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection that we’ve also spotted on Chloë Grace Moretz.

The performer was usually about long lashes and deep red lips.

Criticizing Katy Perry’s eccentric wardrobe is the same as criticizing Lady Gaga’s or Madonna’s — you just can’t.
Dressing up in such an eclectic manner is a significant factor in how they rose to the top to become such acclaimed artists; taking a swipe at that would destroy what makes these celebrities unique.
This look would crumble to pieces on a corporate person, so we advise sticking to the understated rose-print dress and leaving the rest of the animals at the zoo.
