They were joined by series creator Darren Star, who has helmed some of the most iconic television shows, such as Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, and Sex and the City.

Fans of the latter have been clamoring for a guest starring role for any of the women of Sex and the City, be it Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, or Kim Cattrall.

Of course, the first three ladies are busy with their own show, And Just Like That.

So, what about Kim Cattrall?

A Wonderful Idea

The woman herself made a guest appearance at the Season 3 world premiere of Emily in Paris, which thrilled the fans to no end and made everyone question whether she’s going to be a part of the new season.

Kim Cattrall posed with showrunner Darren Star while clad in a chic all-black ensemble.

The 66-year-old actress wore a jumpsuit with military-style buttons and a low neckline that showed off her decolletage. Her red lip added a pop of color, while her Philip Treacy hat and peep-toed heels provided the finishing touches to her look.

Darren Star told People that he “would love” to have Kim Cattrall on Emily in Paris.

“For me, it’s never about stunt casting per se. It’s about finding the right role for the right person. And I would love to work with Kim and it’s just about finding a role that’s worthy of Kim.”

He also told Variety that casting Kim Cattrall is “a wonderful idea. Not at the moment but it would be so much fun to see that happening.”

So Many More Possibilities

The 61-year-old showrunner also gave a few revelations about the show. For example, he teased about a queer storyline for the new season and added that he likes “that all the characters have unexpected storylines.”

As Darren Starr remarked to People, “when you have a great ensemble like this, you have a lot more story to tell. I see so much more story to tell, so many more possibilities.

He also revealed to Variety that he wanted legendary French actress Isabelle Huppert to be a part of the cast for next season, mentioning that it’s “not a spoiler but a request.” Darren Star said that if Isabelle Huppert “wants to do it, we’ll have a lot for her to do.”

Well, a fourth season is already confirmed, and judging by the reception it got during its premiere in Paris, the show is embraced by a plethora of fans.

“If they want us back, we’re coming back,” Darren Star told People. “I hope we get to keep doing it because we’re having a great time doing it.”
