She said, “Real life happens. Sometimes, I am in my makeup from the night before and it is what it is. But it’s like that, where you … just woke up after the night of my life in this secret garden.”

She explained, “This is my shoe,” highlighting, “It’s clever because if I had a shoe with a heel, the heel gets stuck in the metal skirt. And so that was our issue of walking.”
According to Kim, wearing these shoes requires a certain level of skill and balance. She elaborated, “To wear these, you’re on your tiptoes, and you’re balancing the whole time, flexing your calf muscles. So, that’s what I’m gonna have to do is stand on my tippy toes.”
Fortunately, Kim had the opportunity to practice with the shoes before walking the red carpet, noting that her test run revealed the importance of avoiding leaning back while walking.
