Sisters who have close relationships tend to copy each other’s styles. In Kardashian-Jenner’s case, Kylie Jenner seems to be taking style cues from big sister Kim Kardashian. Here are some Kylizzle looks that were inspired by Kim:
1. Sheer White Dresses: Kylie Jenner’s Tribute to Kim’s Iconic Met Gala Look
At this year’s Met Gala, the ShoeDazzle founder wore a stunning sheer white gown designed by Peter Dundas for Roberto Cavalli.

With her husband, Kanye, by her side, Kim posed for the photographers and showed off her famous assets. The dramatic dress features intricate detailing and a long feathered train.

A month after Kim’s Met gown, Kylie donned a similar dress designed by Francesco Scognamiglio.

Although this version consists of a crop top and a sheer skirt with beaded detailing, the dress looks inspired by Kim’s gown. Kylie even copied her older sister’s pose at the stairs and posted the pic on Instagram.

2. Plunging Necklines: Kylie and Kim’s Daring Red Carpet Moments
It’s no secret that Kim has a super curvy figure and always likes to show that off. For a guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the reality star wore a revealing black ensemble with a plunging neckline that showcased her cleavage.
The outfit was topped with a structured blazer and finished with a sleek do.

Kylie also showed off her curves in a black outfit with an even deeper plunging neckline. This revealing ensemble looks very similar to Kim’s dress, although the padded shoulders make it edgier.

3. Edgy Stripes: How Kylie Takes on Kim’s Signature Bold Patterns
Kim donned a bold Balmain outfit for the Vogue Party in Cannes last year, never backing down from edgy trends. The outfit consisted of a striped top, an animal-print pencil skirt, and a thick belt that cinched Kim’s waist.

Taking notes from her sister, Kylie sported similar edgy stripes from the same designer. This Balmain dress, however, is made of leather and has a shorter hemline. Kylie also finished the look with a thick belt that defines her waist.

4. Red Hot: Kylie’s Twist on Kim Kardashian’s Rare Red Dress Moments
Kim very rarely wears red because she is mostly addicted to black. This rare dress choice is from Alexander McQueen, another favorite brand of the whole family.

Kylie’s red dress choice made headlines more than Kim’s McQueen frock. This Nasty Gal “Brickell” ribbed dress is only $48, but it sold out after it was spotted on the young fashionista.

5. Silk Elegance: Kylie Channels Kim’s Glamorous Silk Gown Style
During last year’s fancy LACMA Gala, Kim rocked a Cushnie et Ochs silk dress in a deep blue-green jewel tone. The thigh-high front slit showed off the reality star’s legs. She accessorized with a jaw-dropping Cartier necklace that wowed the crowd.

Kylie’s take on the silk dress was a lot sexier and more revealing than Kim’s. Her Alexandre Vauthier couture gown features a plunging neckline and an even higher front slit that shows a lot of skin.
While Kim glammed up her dress with a sleek hairstyle and stunning jewels, Kylie chose a slightly disheveled hairdo and layered gold accessories.

6. Denim-on-Denim: Kylie Jenner’s Fresh Take on Kim’s Laid-Back Trend
Kim was among the first celebrities to popularize the denim-on-denim trend last year. The starlet wore a Frame Denim “Le High” pencil skirt with a long-sleeved denim button-down shirt during one of her off-duty days. Unfortunately, we no longer have photos of this outfit.
Kylie was spotted wearing the same look and Fame Denim skirt while shopping at Fred Segal a few months ago. She made the outfit a little edgier with pointed lace-up booties.
