With all the hype surrounding the engagement of Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards to One Direction’s Zayn Malik, the paparazzi at the world premiere of ‘One Direction:
This Is Us’ paid very little attention to anything and anyone else. A case in point was Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s rather refreshingly sophisticated ensemble. The Little Mix member, whom we are used to seeing in more youthful and casual clothes, decided to go for an all-black ensemble adorned with gold accessories.

The 21-year-old winner of ‘The X Factor’ 2011 chose wide-legged trousers from British label AQ/AQ (formerly Aqua by Aqua), which she paired with a matching peplum top from the same brand.

The singer kept her hair slicked back, highlighting her look with a clean face and bold red lips. We can only guess that this trés chic look was inspired by her fancy night out with boyfriend Jordan Kiffin, whom she slipped out with after the premiere.

Wide-legged pants are still a favorite for updating the pantsuit look, making their way into runway shows for the past few seasons. While we love seeing Leigh-Anne in fresh threads, we admit that her outfit could use more pruning. Pantsuits are meant to fit phenomenally, so every line making up its handsomely tailored structure can be appreciated.
One look at Leigh-Anne’s loose crotch area and sloppy hem length, and, well, you get it. The pair looks phenomenal on the model, though. Since we are all born with varying body types, one must always be careful with what works and what doesn’t.
