In November 2014, “If It’s Lovin’ That You Want” singer Rihanna dressed more conservatively than normal to attend MAC Cosmetics & MAC AIDS Fund’s premiere of ‘It’s Not Over’ in Los Angeles.

The then 26-year-old artist sported a white-and-pink skirt suit from the Altuzarra Spring 2015 collection, which she styled with large hoop earrings and a variety of rings.
9 years earlier, Jennifer Lopez’s rival released “If It’s Lovin’ that You Want,” a song written by Samuel Barnes, Scott La Rock, Makeba Riddick, Jean-Claude Oliver, Lawrence Parker for her 2005 debut studio album “Music of the Sun.”
Released on August 29, 2005, when Rihanna was 17 years old, the accompanying music video for “If It’s Lovin’ that You Want” was directed by Marcus Raboy.

The music video was shot on a beautiful beach in California. Released in September 2015, it features the Barbadian singer dancing and riding jet skis with her friends.
“This video is about having fun, giving off the vibe of the Caribbean,” Rihanna told MTV about the music video that was filmed on a stretch of beach on the coast of California in Malibu.
“We did some mermaid-looking stuff down on the sand … and I’m just [performing] to the camera as if it were my boyfriend. Now we’re going to do [some scenes with] the Tiki torches. It’s going to be incredible.”

“The water was so cold … but oh my gosh, we had so much fun,” she added. “We were bumping each other off the Jet Skis and just had a ball.”
“The song is basically telling a guy, ‘If it’s lovin’ that you want, you should make me your girl because I’ve got what you need,'” Rihanna explained about the meaning of a song that received mixed reviews from music critics.
At the premiere of It’s Not Over, Rihanna completed the sexy yet elegant ensemble with a pair of “Cocco” sandals from the same Altuzarra collection.

It did not seem like she was wearing anything underneath her suit jacket and matching pencil skirt.
