Lupita Nyong’o looked fresh and beautiful in a black-and-white number for the 7th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic held at the Liberty State Park in New Jersey.

The ’12 Years a Slave’ actress wore an Alexander McQueen Spring 2014 printed dress featuring a pleated skirt with a double-layer overlay and a belted waist that creates an hourglass figure.
She styled the dress with a Janessa Leone Rita Panama hat and a pair of black Christian Louboutin wedges, although one with a wider brim would have been better. Wedge shoes are ideal for the event, but they didn’t look great with Lupita’s entire outfit. Still, she was stunning, and her makeup was flawless.

Lupita’s Alexander McQueen tote features the same black-and-white geometric pattern as her dress.

Made of calf leather, the bag has a front flap that loops over one of the rolled top handles, expandable side zips, silver-tone micro studs on both sides, and removable and adjustable shoulder straps, which the actress and director chose to go without.

Lupita’s Alexander McQueen bag can be purchased at Farfetch. A black patent leather version is also available.
