While romance rumors have been swirling about “Black Panther” stars Lupita Nyong’o and Michael B. Jordan, the Kenyan-Mexican actress showed up alone at the 2018 Essence Black Women in Hollywood Oscars Luncheon on Thursday at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. If she indeed has a boyfriend, Lupita seems to want to keep it a secret for the time being.
The 35-year-old Academy Award winner hit the black carpet in a purple and black mini dress from the Ronald van der Kemp Fall 2017 Couture collection featuring floral embellishments. She styled the dress with an underwhelming pair of velvet pumps from Jimmy Choo, Jacquie Aiche jewelry, and a clutch by Christian Louboutin.
Don’t you wish she had picked a different pair of shoes? Perhaps Lupita should consider hiring a professional stylist from Trunk Club or Stitch Fix?
