In January 2017, Mandy Moore decided to stun us all by returning to the spotlight with her new NBC series This Is Us. She’s come a long way since rising to fame with her debut single almost two decades earlier.

In 1999, Mandy Moore rose to fame with the release of her debut single “Candy,” the second track on her first studio album, So Real.
Released on August 17, 1999, when she was just 15, the dance-pop hit became a commercial success in several countries and peaked at number 41 on the Billboard Hot 100. However, her transition into acting, particularly with This Is Us, solidified her status as a versatile talent.

At the 2017 Winter TCA Tour, where Mandy and her This Is Us castmates received news of their show’s renewal, she also showcased her evolving fashion sense. Gone were the days of her youthful pop star looks; Mandy now exuded sophistication and elegance, perfectly reflected in her attire for the event.

Mandy Moore graced the red carpet in a beautiful navy blue dress with a sheer bodice, perfectly complementing her soft waves and vibrant pink lipstick.
Her abstract print Red Valentino dress, paired with color-block d’Orsay ‘Ramona’ pumps from Via Spiga, highlighted her refined taste, further proving her transformation from pop princess to a style icon.

Mandy complemented the dress with color-block d’Orsay “Ramona” pumps from Via Spiga and finished the look with jewelry from Wasson Fine.

Luckily, a camera caught the awesome moment when Mandy and the rest of the “This Is Us” cast received news of the season extensions. Mandy couldn’t help but dance around after discovering she had secured two more years as Rebecca Pearson.
The then 32-year-old, along with her on-screen husband, Milo Ventimiglia, uploaded a heartfelt thank-you video for fans after hearing about the 36-episode extension for “the best job (she) ever had.”
