The then 26-year-old actress was effortlessly chic in a loose-fitting salmon pink embroidered dress, most likely by Stella McCartney.
She had her breakthrough as cult member Martha/Marcy May/”Marlene Lewis” in the independent thriller drama Martha Marcy May Marlene, for which she was nominated for the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Actress and Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead.
“I was new, young, and naive, and I just really wanted the job,” she told Collider in October 2011 about her decision to star in the movie directed by Sean Durkin.

“Everything was just like, the first read, I just remembered she had a really interesting choice and she wasn’t trying hard. She was relaxed and intense, and thoughtful and there is something about in her face, in her head, you could see something working on a much different level and that was just at the very first read and the very first audition,” Sean Durkin told Daily Actor about the casting process.
“Then, I had her back in and just got to talk to her a little bit more and she’s a very vibrant person. And I felt that if her personality, which is so bright, is trapped down inside of this shell that’s Martha, plus with the ease of her performance, I just thought it give it an energy and a depth,” he added.
The film premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival on January 21, 2011, when Elizabeth Olsen was 21-years-old.
Born on February 16, 1989, in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, California, she turned 22 on February 16, 2011.

At Stella McCartney’s fall presentation, she wore a sleeveless dress featuring a v-neckline and a hem cut right above her knees.

The “Liberal Arts” star arrived at the venue wearing a long tan coat, which she later ditched to showcase her entire frock. She kept everything else very simple by styling the dress with only a couple of gold rings and a pair of strappy sandals.
The younger sister of twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, she wore her hair in tousled waves with a side part and kept her makeup minimal with dark eyeliner and subtle red lipstick.
