Like Rihanna, Miley Cyrus also wore a Tom Ford creation to the 2014 amfAR Gala held in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

But unlike the pop diva, who was relatively clothed, Miley went a little too far by slipping into a bondage-inspired dress that left her practically naked.

The sexy dress features a see-through upper half detailed with sequined bands strategically placed to avoid indecent exposure.

She complemented the piece with smoky-eye makeup and simple diamond earrings to keep everyone fixated on her outfit.

What took us by surprise, however, was her choice of footwear. Miley punctuated the mix with simple black pumps — a pair that wasn’t exactly as exciting as the dress.

So, do you think the controversial singer chose the right shoes to go with her naked Tom Ford outfit, or do you think she should have worn a style with a bit more drama, like the cutout zip-front open-toe booties below?

Now that we think about it, perhaps she did right by the dress with those classic black pumps. After all, the frock is already quite a statement-maker.
Miley’s pumps are also from Tom Ford. They’re your usual pointy toes but done differently with tapered mirror-like metal heels detailed with rivets at the bottom. If you dig this pair, feel free to score your own at Farfetch. They retail at $790.
