Divot-stomping is a halftime tradition at all polo plays, wherein all the guests take part in smoothing out divots that may have been created by the ponies during play.

Camilla Belle was just one of the celebrities to get a kick (pun intended) out of this event at the 6th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic.

The actress graced the red carpet looking très belle in a halter dress by Andrew Gn, which she paired with a rectangular clutch by Edie Parker and the “Frontline” sandals by Tamara Mellon in nude.

Camilla uploaded pictures of her stomping out divots at the field, sharing that she and her friend felt like they were in a scene from ‘Pretty Woman’ (hence breaking out the movie’s soundtrack).
In the 1990 American romantic comedy film directed by Garry Marshall, prostitute Vivian Ward (Julia Roberts) wore a cocoa polka dot dress to a polo match.

Camilla also shared a photo of herself with one of the adorable ponies at the event.

Camilla’s divot-stomping heels are sold out elsewhere, but you can still get them over at Tamara Mellon.
