Shay Mitchell arrived at the Boom Boom Room in New York City on July 18, 2023, wearing a monochromatic leather look that balances utilitarian details with a sharp, modern silhouette.
Stepping away from the vibrant pink tones used to promote her Béis x Barbie collection, Mitchell opted for a cream-colored leather set by Oknesuded that highlights how heavy textures can still feel light through careful tailoring.

Mitchell wore a $795 oversized collared shirt with a cropped, boxy silhouette designed to draw attention to the waistline. Made from fully lined Italian leather, the crop shirt featured dropped shoulders, elbow-length, loose sleeves, and uniquely placed flap-patch pockets that dipped below the hemline.
The Pretty Little Liars actress paired the trendy top with its coordinating $750 high-waisted shorts, whose flared hem made her legs appear slimmer. Similar to the crop top, they featured flap-patch pockets with decorative topstitching and brass-branded hardware, giving them a utilitarian look.
She added several inches to her height by slipping her feet into a pair of black mules with pointy, triangular toes, curved, open-toe, padded straps, and thin stiletto heels.

For some glitz, Shay accessorized with gleaming gold earrings and a diamond tennis bracelet. She then adorned her pink manicured hands with sparkling statement rings and carried a black top-handle bag for a chic contrast.
When it came to her glam, the Canadian actress of Filipino-Caucasian descent used a bronze makeup palette to accentuate her features. She wore subtle smoky eyeshadow with fluttery eyelashes, a sweep of blush, and nude lipstick, and slicked her dark tresses back into a high ponytail.

Shay Mitchell’s Béis x The Barbie Movie Luggage Collection
Shay Mitchell launched her travel and luggage brand Béis in 2018, and it has since grown into one of the most well-known brands among celebrities and fashion enthusiasts.
In line with the release of the much-awaited Barbie movie, the Dollface star launched a luggage collection inspired by the fantasy-comedy film.
Taking Barbiecore to the next level, the brand’s latest offering features a variety of fashionable, functional luggage, accessories, and travel bags in hot pink.
The collection ranges in price from $52 to $378 and includes The Check-In Roller, The Carry-On Roller, The Cosmetic Case, The Mini Weekender, The Travel Wallet, and The Passport & Luggage Tag set.

As part of the promotional campaign for the collection, Shay Mitchell transformed into a real-life Barbie with the help of stylist Shalev Lavàn.
She looked unrecognizable, sporting a platinum-blonde wig and a series of all-pink outfits, a far cry from her typical neutral red-carpet style.
In the first teaser photo, Matte Babel’s girlfriend showed off her side profile captured by Greg Swales in a style reminiscent of the Barbie logo. She then enlisted her glam team, composed of makeup artist Diana Shin and hairstylist Cesar Deleon Ramirez, to give her a Barbie makeover.
Her blonde hair was tied in a high ponytail with curled ends and retro-blunt bangs, secured with a baby-pink hair tie. Her makeup, pastel blue eyeshadow, bright pink blush, and matching lipstick completed her Barbie-inspired appearance.
Adding accessories to the look were her Alexis Bittar crumpled-silver post earrings and a thin silver collar necklace.

In one photo, Mitchell looked straight out of Barbie’s vintage closet in a pastel pink blazer dress, called the “Alia” by LA-based fashion brand Nana Jacqueline. The feminine frock featured puff sleeves, wide white lapels, and chunky diamond buttons.
Giving off ‘80s Barbie vibes, Shay wore the stunning mini dress with a wide-brim hat in the same pastel pink shade, sheer lace opera gloves, Alexis Bittar hand-sculpted pink Lucite hoop earrings, and pink-tinted sunnies.
Her blonde hair was styled in loose waves, and her makeup included a monochromatic pink palette with pink eyeshadow, blush, and matte lipstick.

In another campaign photo, Mitchell highlighted her slender figure in an ‘80s-style tight-fitting pink bodysuit from Kim Kardashian’s Skims.
She wore it with a light pink heart-embellished belt to accentuate her tiny waist, and stacked, chunky pink bangles by Alexis Bittar on each wrist to complete the maximalist Barbie aesthetic.

The You star is shown in a different campaign photo, sporting the same voluminous, wavy blonde Barbie hairstyle but wearing a different Barbie pink ensemble.
This time, she opted for an ab-baring paillette-embellished bandeau top and a matching high-waisted maxi skirt with a thigh-high slit to show off her lean legs. She selected the ensemble from SIRAPOP, an emerging ready-to-wear brand established in 2018.

Her most recent Instagram post features another ad campaign photo for her new Béis x The Barbie Movie Luggage Collection.
Channeling another version of Barbie, Shay donned a pink bodycon dress with a large front bow, spaghetti straps, and ruched sleeves and lace-puff shoulders.
She styled the look with a thick pink headband and completed the Barbiecore aesthetic with pink-framed sunglasses, pink socks, and sparkling pink heels.
