Before Star Wars made her famous, Daisy Ridley began her career with minor roles in several television programs.

She is remembered for her portrayal of Hannah Kennedy in Silent Witness, a British crime drama television series produced by the BBC.

Starring as the friend of a teenage girl found murdered and left in an open grave, Daisy’s character is also killed after she confronts her friend’s murderer.

She appears in episodes 9 and 10 in season 17, “Fraternity: Part 1” and “Fraternity: Part 2,” which aired in January 2014.

In November 2015, an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” turned into a star (wars)-studded affair as the host dedicated an entire show to the Star Wars saga in anticipation of the franchise’s latest film, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

The hour-long extravaganza included a funny bit about Harrison Ford and Chewbacca’s supposed feud and a Star Wars trivia game between the cast and a die-hard Star Wars fan, in which the cast lost.

The segment also included an interview with a slew of names familiar to Star Wars fans: actors Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher, and director J.J. Abrams.

Daisy Ridley, the British actress who plays Rey in the saga, was all smiles as she entered ABC studios for the interview with Jimmy Kimmel.

That same week, Daisy also attended a fundraiser at the Old Selfridges Hotel. The fundraiser, called “Star Wars: Fashion Finds the Force” benefitted the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

Ten British designers created one of a kind pieces inspired by the George Lucas movies, which were auctioned off at the event.

The actress looked gorgeous in a mid-calf gold pencil dress that featured a thigh-high slit.

However, Daisy committed a major fashion no-no by wearing a pair of nude Christian Louboutin “Batignolles” pumps that were too large for her feet. At least her footwear-related mistake isn’t as unfortunate as these toe overhangs.
