Penélope Cruz wore her raven hair in a chic updo to highlight the diamond earrings from her own jewelry collection with Atelier Swarovski on the red carpet at the premiere of Wasp Network on Sunday night at the Sala Grande in Venice, Italy.

‘I was introduced to Nadia Swarovski in Madrid and we really connected and she told me about all the things that they do with the created stones and I didn’t even think that was possible and I was very impressed by that and they offered to me to work with together and I immediately said yes,’ Cruz told Elle about her connection with the brand.

‘For the fine jewelry collection – I wanted to do something vintage feeling, more classical. and the red one, in the ‘Lola’ set, is kind of an homage to my grandmother, Modesta. Because she gave me a garnet ring that was lost and then I wanted to do one inspired by her,’ she added.

The 45-year-old actress wowed in a white tulle multi-layered ballgown with a fitted sweetheart bodice and a tiered frill skirt from the Ralph & Russo Fall 2019 Haute Couture Collection.
She was joined at the premiere by her co-stars Edgar Ramirez, Wagner Moura, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Gael Garcia Bernal, as well as director Olivier Assayas.
