The cast and producers of Fox’s TV drama series ‘Empire’ were all game to answer questions about the characters and the show’s upcoming second season at a live-streaming panel event held at The Grove in Los Angeles on Friday.

Taraji P. Henson, who plays Cookie Lyon on the drama show, was on hand at the event.

Looking fit and fab, the 44-year-old actress wore a black halter mini dress highlighting her toned arms and legs.

Her accessories included diamond-encrusted hoop earrings and a statement ring. She styled her hair with more volume for a fiercer look but kept her makeup feminine with pink shades.

The mom-of-one finished off her hot look with a pair of strappy sandals by Alaïa.

They are laser-cut suede and feature striking circular mirror embellishments, double buckled ankle straps, 0.5-inch platforms, and 4.5-inch heels.

Surprisingly, Taraji was the first to reveal the premiere date for the second season of Empire. When a Twitter fan asked when season 2 of the hip-hop drama series would premiere, she replied, “Hello! September 23 #Empire season [2].”
A few hours later, official @EmpireWriters confirmed the date, tweeting: “#Empire fans! @EmpireFOX Season 2 returns Wednesday, September 23, 2015! #MarkYourCalendars #GameTimeBitches.” Now, who’s excited?
