Taraji P. Henson made her first appearance at the 2015 Met Gala, which was held on Monday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The 44-year-old Empire actress donned a white silk crepe column gown from Balenciaga that reportedly took 120 hours of couture workmanship to create.

Taraji’s dress features a black abstract floral pattern created entirely from embroidered black seed beads, tiny chain links, and black rhinestones. She completed the ensemble with Balenciaga twisted earrings and a Fred Leighton bracelet.

Do you find the gown thematically appropriate, or was it underwhelming?
