Since marrying in a private ceremony in March 2017, Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski have established themselves as one of Hollywood’s most low-key yet enduring couples.

The pair first crossed paths in 2015 while starring in the off-Broadway play The Way We Get By, later reuniting on the set of the 2017 film The Last Word.

While their professional collaborations brought them together, their personal life is defined by a preference for simplicity over the typical Hollywood spectacle.

Sustainable Glamour on the Green Carpet: Amanda Seyfried’s Giuseppe Zanotti Heels at the Gringo Premiere

At the world premiere of Gringo on March 6, 2018, Amanda Seyfried and her husband, writer Thomas Sadoski, made a stylish appearance on the “green carpet” with a mix of high-street sustainability and classic tailored pieces.

Amanda wore a custom-designed gown from the H&M Conscious Exclusive 2018 collection. The dress was a black sleeveless, floor-length piece with sheer lace detailing and intricate embroidery. Notably, the gown was crafted from Econyl, a sustainable material created from 100% regenerated nylon waste, such as recycled fishing nets. She accessorized the look with Giuseppe Zanotti heels and jewelry from A. Fier Lifestyle, while her blonde hair was styled in voluminous, polished curls.

Thomas opted for a “cool and casual” tailored look that complemented Amanda’s high-fashion choice. He wore a sharp, textured gray jacket by Ted Baker layered over a crisp white button-down shirt. He finished the ensemble with simple black trousers and sleek black footwear, maintaining a relaxed yet sophisticated aesthetic.

Maternity Style, Made Practical: Amanda Seyfried Steps Out in Ballet Flats During a Los Angeles Outing

During a casual outing in Los Angeles on March 3, 2017, a heavily pregnant Amanda Seyfried and her fiancé, Thomas Sadoski, showcased a sophisticated yet functional approach to maternity fashion. They married just a few days later.

Amanda highlighted her growing baby bump in a deep burgundy, button-down maternity dress featuring a delicate ruffled collar and eyelet detailing along the placket. She maintained her preference for comfort by pairing the empire-waist piece with classic black ballet flats and dark sunglasses, and accessorizing with a large black leather tote.

Thomas complemented her look with a sharp navy-blue tailored suit worn over a crisp white button-down shirt and a dark, slim-knit tie. His choice of footwear was a pair of traditional black leather dress shoes, rounding out his polished appearance for their day out in the city.

The couple eventually wed in Topanga, California, on March 12, 2017. The ceremony was a private elopement in the Santa Monica Mountains, followed by a casual meal at Cheebo, a family-owned cafe in Los Angeles.

Even her choice of bridal attire reflected this grounded approach. Wearing an inexpensive Free People dress, Seyfried married Sadoski while nine months pregnant with their first child, Nina, born later in 2017.

“I really wanted to have rings on in the hospital,” Seyfried explained regarding the timing. “And what if something goes wrong, and he’s not legally my husband?”

While her recent looks emphasize a blend of sustainability and maternity comfort, Seyfried’s fashion journey has long been defined by a willingness to experiment with avant-garde silhouettes. To understand her current “grounded” aesthetic, one must look back at the bold, high-fashion risks that first established her as a darling of the footwear industry.

One of her most definitive “shoe moments” occurred a decade ago, when she traded her usual understated elegance for a sharp, architectural statement on the red carpet.

The gold-embellished dress was pulled from Givenchy’s Fall 2012 collection. She accessorized the look with an orange belt, Fred Leighton jewelry, and a matching Givenchy clutch. However, it was her footwear that caught the eye of shoe enthusiasts.

Amanda opted for Givenchy’s “Shark Tooth” embellished sandals in black patent leather. This specific design became a celebrity favorite, previously spotted on stars like Rihanna and Charlize Theron.

The sandals feature a five-inch heel and a distinctive metal shark-tooth detail on the ankle strap. While Amanda wore the patent version, the style was also released in a unique black hagfish leather.
