No matter the occasion, Olivia Palermo never fails to put her best fashion foot forward.

Dressing up every chance she gets, the 34-year-old socialite opted for a chic fall ensemble as she performed her civic duty on Tuesday.

Olivia stepped out in Brooklyn to cast her vote, wearing a gray, ribbed knit long-sleeve top teamed with a matching midi skirt.

She then kept warm in style as she layered a long, khaki green trench coat over her outfit.

Called the “Oaklane,” this wool and cashmere coat features an open front that can be cinched with a removable belt. It also has belted cuffs, front welt pockets, and notched lapels, where she proudly put on her “I voted” sticker.

Olivia’s coat is from contemporary fashion label, Theory, and you can buy it in taupe gray for $595 at Nordstrom.

The fashion icon then added some bold colors to her look with a navy and burgundy striped Le Scarf scarf wrapped around her neck.

It perfectly complemented her paisley-printed face mask, her red square-shaped sunglasses as well as her red nail polish.

Wearing her hair back in a bun, Olivia carried her stuff in a tiny white Series S grained-leather bag from Valextra, an Italian brand of extreme luxury leather goods founded by Giovanni Fontana in 1937.

To complete her chic voting look, Olivia slipped into a pair of Casadei ‘Fulgor’ knee-high boots that seem to have sold out at Casadei.

According to CNN, political elections have dress codes. “The laws are specific to each state, and they are enforced by poll workers,” says Richard Hasen, an American legal scholar and expert in legislation, election law and campaign finance at the University of California, Irvine.

“What one can wear, and whether other laws might violate the First Amendment, would have to be determined on a case by case basis,” he adds about voting dress codes.

Olivia collaborated with the luxury shoe brand to create these timeless taupe leather boots. They simply have almond toes, wide shafts, and about 3-inch block heels.
