Mixing different colors of metals used to be a hard no in fashion rule books. But it’s 2019 now and fashion rule books are a thing of the past.

Just ask Kate Beckinsale who not only embraced mixing metals but completely shook it up.

The 45-year-old actress showed up to the 2019 NBA Awards in a fully metallic ensemble that mixed silver, gold, and bronze all in one look.

Her Alberta Ferretti Fall 2019 lamé strapless gown alone alternated silver and gold in its electric pleats. The Brian Atwood ‘Madison’ platforms on her feet were the added glint of bronze every time she took a step.

There isn’t really much need to add bling to a metallic look, but Kate couldn’t help accessorizing just a little with tinsel-like, silver strand earrings.

Also note her metallic bronze nail polish.

The Underworld star was joined by Maria Menounos, who shared a snap of the two of them attending the event on Instagram.

In the pic below, you can see that Kate continued with her metal mania down to her gold Jimmy Choo clutch.
