The cast of Marvel Television’s Wonder Man, along with some celebrity guests, came out in full force at the TCL Chinese Theatre for the series premiere, now streaming on Disney+.

While the red carpet was filled with interesting looks, my attention naturally went straight to the heels that truly made the night shine.

Wonder Man runs for eight episodes and marks the 17th television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which falls under Phase Six. The story follows struggling actor Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) as he tries for the lead role in a remake of the fictional superhero film Wonder Man, alongside Trevor Slattery (Ben Kingsley).

The looks were a mix of styles—some costumey and over-the-top, others refreshingly simple—which made the footwear stand out even more. From sleek stilettos to bold statement heels, the shoes added personality and edge to the looks. Let’s take a closer look at the standout heels that saved the day on the red carpet.

X Mayo Elevates an All-White Moment With Strappy Square-Toe Sandals

X Mayo, Simon Williams’ agent, Janelle Jackson, in the series, stepped onto the red carpet in an all-white look, and while the outfit itself didn’t fully win me over, her shoes did. She wore strappy white sandals with open square toes and slim straps that crossed neatly over the foot and wrapped around the ankle, finished with a tiny buckle.

The short, slightly flared heels gave the sandals a modern silhouette, and I loved how clean and fresh they looked. They were simple but still stood out!

X Mayo paired the sandals with a white mini dress that leaned into a babydoll silhouette. The bodice featured a sweetheart neckline, while puff sleeves with gathered hems added volume. A bow at the back cinched her waist before the dress fell into a softly ruffled skirt that sat above her knees. I didn’t find the cut very flattering on her—I thought it was a bit too youthful.

X Mayo didn’t hold back on accessories. She stacked pearl and gold bracelets, added matching rings, layered a pearl necklace, and finished with pearl earrings, keeping with the all-white theme. I usually love how a white dress acts as a blank canvas, but this felt slightly overdone.

Shola Adewusi Leans Into the Mesh Trend With Square-Toe White Mules

This look felt a little costumey to me, but I couldn’t ignore how intriguing Shola Adewusi’s shoes were. She wore a pair of white mesh mules, and considering how hot mesh footwear is right now, they instantly caught my attention.

The shoes covered most of her foot while leaving the back open, and the square toes gave them a modern, on-trend feel. I also liked the leather trim running across the middle, which added structure and polish to an otherwise airy design. We didn’t get a clear view of the heel, but it’s safe to assume they gave her some lift.

Shola, who plays Simon’s mom, Martha Williams, in the series, paired her mesh shoes with a bright blue, body-hugging gown by Addicted to Fits, finished with a feathered hem that added drama and movement.

A matching shawl sat over her shoulders, but she didn’t stop there. Shola piled on accessories! She wore a blue Ferrecci top hat, a chunky blue bangle, a hammered silver cuff, bold rings, and heavy earrings, which was a bit much all at once.

Loren Lott Brings Crystal Glamour in Double-Bow Silver Pumps

Singer and actress Loren Lott stepped onto the red carpet looking polished and feminine. She wore silver pumps with double crystal bows on the vamp, complete with a crystal ball detail at the center.

They reminded me of Mach & Mach’s iconic Double Bow pumps, but her pair from the ASOS Truffle Collection had a single ankle strap rather than the wraparound style. The strap was covered in crystals, tying in nicely with the crystal-trimmed vamp.

The metallic silver finish made them even more striking, while the slim stiletto heels added just the right amount of height and glamour.

Lott paired the sparkling shoes with a beige houndstooth skirt suit that combined classic tailoring with a playful touch. The Cicy Bell set, available on Amazon, featured a double-breasted, cropped jacket with long sleeves and notched lapels, finished with pearl buttons that gave it a sophisticated yet feminine feel.

Underneath, she wore a crisp white shirt that peeked out at the collar and cuffs, keeping everything clean and balanced. The blazer’s matching mini skirt skimmed her thighs, adding a youthful, fresh touch.

When it came to accessories, Loren didn’t hold back. To add even more sparkle, she wore a statement ring, a bangle, a dramatic gemstone necklace, and long drop earrings!

Xochitl Gomez Commits to Power Red With Glossy Pointed-Toe Pumps

Xochitl Gomez owned the red carpet in a bold, head-to-toe red look that felt effortlessly powerful. She stood tall in a pair of glossy red pumps that were classic in shape but striking in finish.

They featured pointed toes, low-cut vamps that showed just a hint of toe cleavage, and slim stiletto heels, giving them a timeless, elegant silhouette. While the design was understated, the high-shine finish added a modern edge that really stood out on the red carpet.

Gomez paired the pumps with a matching red dress from New York–based label Rosie Assoulin, and it was a perfect match. The fitted sheath silhouette hugged her frame beautifully and fell cleanly to her ankles.

What made the dress special was the sculptural bodice. The structured bust detail extended upward into thick, architectural shoulder straps and continued to the back, finished low-cut.

Xochitl kept her styling minimal. She wore thick gold double-hoop earrings by Gorjana along with a few rings, letting the dress and shoes do the talking.

Cassandra Creech Sharpens the Red Carpet With Crystal-Plaid Stiletto Boots

Cassandra Creech brought serious edge to the red carpet, and my attention went straight to her INC International Concepts “Reisa” boots. They looked like classic plaid in black, red, and white at first glance, but the closer I looked, the more impressive they became.

The plaid pattern was actually covered in shimmering rhinestone crystals, instantly elevating the boots and giving them a modern, eye-catching twist. Her shoes featured pointed toes, slim stiletto heels, and side zippers, making them both sharp and wearable.

To match that bold footwear, Cassandra leaned fully into tough-chic territory with a black leather trench coat worn as a dress. The coat had clean seam detailing that added structure and visual interest, along with a stand-up collar and long sleeves that kept the look sleek.

It fit her body, especially with the thin, knotted belt cinching her waist and adding a subtle detail. She left the zipper partially open, creating a high front slit that added a sultry edge.

Creech finished the look with a spiked diamond bib necklace, a ring, and earrings that brought in just enough sparkle.
