Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel in Dark Burgundy Christian Louboutin Pumps

Did you catch the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on TV yesterday?

As part of its promotion, one of the lingerie giant’s angels appeared on ‘Extra’ the other day — Candice Swanepoel. The South African model was a beauty to behold in her form-fitting lace frock and sky-high patent pointy stilettos — both painted in bold bordeaux color that matched the redness of her pouty lips. Simply put, Candice looked drop-dead stunning, and we completely understand why Victoria’s Secret chose her to model the $10 million bra for the runway show.

Doesn’t she look amazing?

Now, let’s get down to the outfit details. The asymmetric lace dress is from Lover — the “Rosebud.” It comes in black and white, too.

As for Candice’s uber sexy sky-high pointy pumps, those are the Christan Louboutin “So Kate.” They are seriously high, with 120-mm-tall heels (almost 5 inches) and nary a platform to ease the pain of walking in them. They also feature extra pointed toes for maximum leg-lengthening effect.

Can you handle the So Kate, or would you cower and run to your 3 inch heels?

The deep burgundy color is already sold out online, but you can still score the classic nude and printed python versions at Saks. As an alternative, you may also consider the “Iriza” below, which features a d’Orsay silhouette and much more manageable 4-inch-tall heels.
